There is a large variety of consignment shops throughout Cape Cod, all with their own unique flair. I am going to guide you through a few of the consignment shops that stood out to me.

Penny Lane Consignment shop in Sandwich

We will begin in Sandwich.

The Penny Lane Consignment shop in Sandwich caught my attention because it offers a number of very nice clothing options for women, and also offers a large number of options for plus size women. The shop also contains a variety of jewelry options, ranging from 14 karat gold to sterling silver and costume pieces. The way that this shop works is that the consignment split is 45 percent going to the consignor and after 60 days any unsold items are donated to local shelters.

Cape Cod is Boutique on the Buy Way

Moving on, let’s head over to Falmouth, where I found several great shops.

One of my favorite consignment shops on Cape Cod is Boutique on the Buy Way. This shop, run by Lea Benson, has been up and running for less than a year and is already doing remarkably well. Boutique on the Buy Way happens to be one of the few environmentally friendly shops, and I am confident that you will be able to find something very chic and affordable when you browse their selections. When I came to this shop, I stumbled upon a very striking necklace that I just had to have. Ms. Benson’s jewelry selection was probably my favorite part about the shop; there is a wide variety to choose from and all of the pieces were just lovely to look at.

rendy Tots Children’s Apparel

Now, let’s move on to another shop in Falmouth, another of my favorites.

I absolutely loved Trendy Tots Children’s Apparel; it was one of the cutest shops I have seen in a long time. Trendy Tots is run by a mother-and-daughter team, Allison and Nancy. They carry a large number of children’s clothes, ranging from newborn to size 14. They also carry baby shoes, baby equipment and a large number of toys. I had never seen some of the toy options that I found at Trendy Tots but the ones I did see, I am confident parents of young children will love. The LumiPets, a color-changing companion that is part toy, part nightlight, comes in a few different animal-based options and I know that it is something I would have loved when I was a little kid. Also, one of the LumiPets was a unicorn, and who doesn’t love that? One of my other favorite toys at Trendy Tots was the eco-crayons. The eco-crayons, which were made to look like sea rocks, came in a few different colors and they just made me want to start coloring right then and there.

Hand in hand Thrift Shop

Let’s move on to one more shop in Falmouth.

Hand in hand Thrift Shop was launched almost 20 years ago and in addition to their wide selection of clothing and jewelry, they have a number of home goods and home décor options to choose from. If you explore Hand in hand Thrift Shop’s Facebook page, you will also be among the first to know about any special sales. The shop’s proceeds help to support the Falmouth Service Center, in which every donation and every purchase directly impacts local families in need. Besides helping to provide food for local families, they also help with financial assistance.

Sun and Moon Consignments

Let’s move on to Cotuit.

Sun and Moon Consignments is a smaller shop but it still had a number of finds that stood out to me, such as a bright orange necklace with flower shapes that I simply could not leave without. The shop offers a nice selection of clothing options and there are also a number of different purse options to choose from, as well as antiques and home décor options.

I hope that you enjoyed venturing around the Upper Cape consignment shops as much as I did. I found many wonderful items while I was exploring all of the different shops and I am sure that you will also find something that you will not be able to leave the shop without. Happy travels!
