In 2004, I contracted Lyme disease after a tick bite while working in my yard in Wellfleet. At the time, my other company already offered tick control, so I began treating my own property—and soon after, others’. In 2010, we placed a small ad to help cover our son’s prep school tuition, and the business grew steadily from there.
Today, we’re a true family operation. My wife Kathy and I are deeply involved, and our sons Patrick and Tim are licensed pesticide applicators who have made this their career. We’ve also added a third technician, Cole. We met Cole when he was a waiter at our favorite local restaurant. He began helping out in his free time and eventually got his pesticide applicators license. Now Cole works with us full-time and has proven to be a great asset to the company. We’ve grown to serve over 1,000 customers from Scituate to Provincetown, largely through referrals.
We love being part of the Cape community. After years of operating out of our home, we renovated an old gas station in 2025 into our headquarters, which also includes employee housing.
